Maple Grove High School Principal Bart Becker received the Rotary Club of Maple Grove Leadership and Business Ethics Award 2021 on October 27, 2021. This award recognizes and honors community leaders who exemplify high ethical behavior and strong leadership in their conduct, business and organization.

“I accept this to celebrate the Crimson staff at Maple Grove High School,” Becker said of receiving the award. “They played in an exemplary manner [over the last 18 months]. “

Jacob Morris, member of the Maple Grove Rotary Club, nominated Becker for the award and praised the principal’s work as a leader, mentor and colleague, especially in light of the challenges presented by recent school years.

“His servant leadership style and transformational efforts inspired action by those around him. He always seemed to find the time, although he was raising his own family and being a good husband, to assist. at community events, concerts, sporting events and staff celebrations because they really care about those around them, ”Morris said.

The Rotary Club of Maple Grove will donate $ 500 on Becker’s behalf to the charity of their choice, the District 279 Foundation.
