Goku and Vegeta are new to the Black Friday update, as the duo mechanic is both a great technical achievement for the game and a hugely impactful tech for the meta. Being able to swap the element benefit almost at will is in itself an unprecedented ability that makes this fighter a lot more versatile than the rest, and if you add in all the other perks that “change” includes, it becomes unfair. Right now, Goku and Vegeta can dominate matches thanks to their high damage power, stackable art draw speed, insanely good extra moves, and the barrage of powerful special moves they can throw at their opponents. There’s just no effective way to stop them when they start, and even defensively they aren’t left out thanks to how easy it is to unlock stars for them during this celebration.

In terms of teams, the leader mechanic has changed a lot in terms of Team Building dynamics, and Goku & Vegeta is probably the fighter who benefits the most in the whole game. While it’s easy to attribute That to his raw offensive and defensive potential as a fighter is only part of the reason, as his versatility in terms of element advantage is just as relevant, if not more so. In fact, as a result, Goku and Vegeta can easily be placed even in teams that already have a powerful Purple Fighter, like Sagas warriors and Son Family, to form a formidable duo that can potentially be enhanced by Zenkai’s abilities.

The whole thing is so ridiculous that even triple purple teams are successful experiences if you have 3-4 suitable Zenkai abilities, as Goku and Vegeta can just function as team red while still benefiting from the purple related buffs.

Without a doubt, the most relevant fighter in the meta right now.

While SSJ Chests is not as unique as Goku and Vegeta its “simplicity” is accompanied by incredible efficiency and consistency. He’s primarily a defensive fighter with high damage reduction, healing, and stamina effects, but his offensive potential shouldn’t be underestimated as his strike damage is quite high right off the bat. Once he has filled his unique gauge, not only does he reduce the enemy’s Ki by 60, often resulting in a stopped combo, but he also gains several offensive buffs that make him a deadly power. His ultimate move and special move in particular are incredibly powerful hits that can knock out even durable fighters. He’s just a very reliable fighter who can do anything for your team.

Since his Endurance is linked to the presence of Vegeta family Where Future fighters in the team, this naturally limits his possibilities as a Chief fighter, but it can still be used in this slot on teams that have a lot of fighters like these, for example God Ki.

Other than that, Future is his natural choice, since he and Future Gohan Form a formidable defensive duo who can control the games with stamina and covers. It’s a perfect addition since Future has been starting to feel a bit shaky lately, and the fact that he can fix that for the team while also improving it offensively is exactly what makes his impact what you expect from a Black Friday fighter.

On Vegeta Family, his role is basically exactly the same, but since this team doesn’t have the luxury of a foolproof defensive fighter like Gohan to partner with Trunks, the latter’s responsibilities as a defensive anchor are even higher there.

This evil duo is a combination of disruptive effects and fierce defense, with additional situational offensive potential. This fighter is really, really boring to face, because sometimes he will feel like he doesn’t take a lot of damage, given that he can heal part of it as well. In terms of disruptive capabilities, the best and most consistent tool to Zamasu and Goku Blackis the first additional blow used which empties the opponent’s disappearance gauge. It’s just an incredibly hard-hitting debuff that allows you to get your hands on the opponent in multiple situations. This can easily turn into an opportunity to kill an opponent if you have a Rush Rush or Ultimate Move available. Other than that, the primary ability sigil and destruction of Dragon Ball are equally consistent debuffs, although not as hard-hitting. Overall, he’s exactly the kind of fighter who calmly adds a lot to your team.

While this combination of hatred for the human race isn’t quite what you want to consider as a leading slot fighter, his Tag versatility still means he has a good number of teams to thrive on. In particular, on Future, the twinning with LF trunks and LF Gohan is just cruel to opponents, especially if you have them in the high stars and put some HP Z-Abilities on the bench. The result is an almost impossible to kill team that can take advantage of Debuffs, Rising Rushs, and Ultimate Moves to create a difficult gap for the opponent to close.

God Ki is also a perfect fit for this fighter, especially if you decide to use LF trunks as a leader there because he needs allies from the future or the Vegeta family.

Broly is an offensive death machine reminiscent of SP SSJ2 Kefla GRN thanks to its inexhaustible source of tools to inflict Damage to opponents. The fact that it can stack Arts Draw Speed thanks to his strike cards is just silly enough, but that’s just the start. It can stack attack and explosion damage buffs by tanking attack and explosion cards respectively, which is easier at the start of the game as it has various damage reduction effects for the first 60 timer accounts. However, by far the most notable thing about his kit is his special move, which gets a damage bonus high enough for its first use against potentially squishy blue opponents. Since he can also use a primary ability that negates special covers and further improves his damage buffs, this fighter is really hard to stop and can deal massive damage very quickly.

A fun and unique thing about him is that he recovers Health and Ki when opponents use extra movement, an aspect that can easily be overlooked by the opponent, allowing Broly to heal a huge chunk of his. HP if he faces specific fighters who thrive on green cards. Even if opponents keep this ability in mind and decide not to use extra movement, it is still an advantage as it is effectively a disruption of the opponent’s plans. Overall, Broly is a great offensive fighter who has no apparent weaknesses.

He fits into different teams, with Sagas warriors being his best but the one he’s most situational on as well since this team is so good, Strike Powerful opponent where he fills a previously empty slot for the Green option, and Freezer Force which is arguably the team his impact is more noticeable since it is one of the main options, and it also enjoys a lot of support.
